solutions to wave equation question look at image

OpenStudy (dan815):

OpenStudy (dan815):

OpenStudy (dan815):

this is the non pde one

OpenStudy (dan815):

i was told to just sub this function in and see if this solution is valid

OpenStudy (dan815):

but the thing is i think im messing up my simplification somewhere its not working out

OpenStudy (dan815):

im not sure if i should leave that hbar as it is or change it to hbar= h/klambda

OpenStudy (abb0t):

I would ask @wio

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All you have to do is differentiate the equation and put its respective into the wave equation. Then simplify both sides.

OpenStudy (dan815):

i am doing that but

OpenStudy (dan815):

what do u do about the voltage and the hbars that arent cancelling out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dunno, don't see you work.

OpenStudy (dan815):

ok brb i will redo it
