The sum of three consecutive even integers if the first integer is x?

x + (x+1) + (x+2) = 3x +3
x + (x+2) + (x+4) = 3x+ 6
Oh yes my bad. Misread the even integer part.
I don't understand.
So let x be your first integer. The next even integer would be x+2 And the next next is x+4

With a real example, let x=2, then the next even integer is 4 or 2+2 And the next next is 2+4 or 6
Oh. and the answer is 3x+ 6 ?
