Which theory of power do you find most convincing?
Write a paragraph explaining why you think it does the best job of describing power. Use examples from your reading and observations to support your position.

Your choices are Elitism and Pluralism and why.
Students commonly miss this question because they confuse these two theories with the four theories on the origin of government.

Pluralism can be contributed with democracy in terms of checks and balances. It accepts diversity and holds the interests and beliefs of the citizens.

Elitism is the opposite of Pluralism and is associated with the interests and beliefs of the selected rich powerful group to authorize public policy.

social movement never interferes with elitism while pluralism does. So which one sounds convincing and more appealing to you?
