Help me please! please click on this link (for pic of a triangle), and tell me how to find the value of x please! https://media.glynlyon.com/g_pal_2012/6/img_triangle_intangles.gif

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is x 90 degrees?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

When you add the three angles of a triangle you always get 180

OpenStudy (mertsj):

So x + 2x+15+4x-10=180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok. so is x a right angle?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

No. It is not.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but each angle is not equal measures, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

recall that all internal angles in a triangle SUM UP to 180 degrees you were given all 3 internal angles, so SUM THEM UP

OpenStudy (anonymous):

maybe i am getting interior and exterior confused

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Right. The angles are not the same but if you add them you will get 180. Did you see the equation I posted?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i did. i wrote that down before i posted question. i had gotten that far
