Solve the system of linear equations Ex=v for x with matrices in comments

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[E=\left[\begin{matrix}-1 & 6 &-3&-4 \\ -1&4&-3 &-2 \\ 1&-4&6&2 \\ 2&-6&-3&4 \end{matrix}\right]\]\[x=\left(\begin{matrix}x_1 \\ x_2\\x_3\\x_4\end{matrix}\right)\]\[v=\left(\begin{matrix}6 \\ 5\\ 3 \\ 3\end{matrix}\right)\]

So do you know how to do Gaussian elimination?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes. Do I have to find the inverse?

OpenStudy (lastdaywork):

You can find the inverse matrix and then multiply it... But I'll strongly advice using Cramer's rule - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cramer%27s_rule
