will one kg sugar be more at the equator or at the poles??

OpenStudy (gtxmuqsit):

nope kg is unit of mass and mass remains constant @bhagu

OpenStudy (mrnood):

If the question were "will it WEIGH more" - then you need to know that the earth is not spherical - it is slightly flattened at the poles (an oblate spheroid is the correct term). Thus items at the poles are slightly closer to the centre of the earth. This is what you need to know to deduce whether it weighs more.
