How is an appeals court different then a traditional federal court?

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

An appeals court is where someone goes, when they are not happy with the results of the case... you can take your case to an appeals court and try to have the decision overturned.

OpenStudy (destinymasha):

IF A person commits a federal crime they will go to a traditional federal court to be tried. In a federal court, there is a trial that has a judge, prosecutor, defendant, and a jury. A decision will be given at the end of the trial. - If you dont like the results ^^^ Appeals.
