Determine whether R(3, 2), O(6, 3), and Q(6, 2) can be the vertices of a triangle. Explain.

OpenStudy (gudden):

@help!!!!me!!!! .. do u know the formula for how to find out the area of triangle ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (gudden):

okay.. its is 1/2 (x1(y2 - y3) + x2(y3-y1) + x3( y1 - y2)) where the coordinated of the points are (x1, y1) , ( x2,y2) and ( x3 , y3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you alot i got it now @gudden

OpenStudy (gudden):

okay... @help!!!!me!!!! ... by d way.. try solving it share the nswer.. with me..

OpenStudy (gudden):

@help!!!!me!!!! .. if the area of these triangles would be equal to zero then they won't form a triangle... and if they did... form... a triangle then area would either be less then zero or more then zero.... but not zero
