Evaluate the function for \(x = -2a\) if \(a = 3\) \[f(x) =-4x + 7\]. We are given x and a, first lets solve the first problem, what does x equal when we sub the value of \(a\) into it: \[x = -2(3)\]

when they say x= -2a they mean x is the same as -2 * a (-2 times a) if they tell you what a is ("a" is 3) can you figure out what x is ?
@LazyBoy @ofmice&men @bobbychamp
what is -2 * a when a is 3 ? erase the a and put in a 3. then multiply. what do you get ?
