in 1890, the u.s. census bureau said there was no more frontier. how did the realization affect the way in which Americans viewed the natural resources?

It seemed unlimited to them, coming from rather limited countries that had been "civilized" for hundreds of years and had worked to move away from the land. There were hardly any enormous plains in England or other places that had such well fertilized soil so I'm sure it looked like a limitless, endless supply of resources
