What is the equation in point-slope form of the line passing through (3, 6) and (−2, 1)?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Hi, Taylor, 1. Please use the slope formula to compute the slope of the line that passes through two given points. Then write out the "point-slope formula for a straight line." 2. Once you have that slope, m, choose one of the two given points and substitute m and the coordinates of one of the points into the "point-slope formula". Hope you'll look up these two formulas on your own, but if not, come back and we'll discuss this problem further.
