Which explanation best explains the role of enzymes as catalysts in living systems?

Do you have any answer choices? If not, I'll do my best to explain: all enzymes are catalysts. What do catalysts do? They speed up reactions in the body. Without catalysts, and therefore enzymes AS catalysts, the living systems would function too slowly for any organism to survive, and the organism would die.
