tanx + cotx
^ I got to tanx + cotx, but my teacher says the answer is: secx cscx
both are equivalent. If you want you can find the common denominator and add them
and you'll get the other expression
I know this might sound stupid but I still don't understand. What would the common denominator be?

(sin x/cos x) + (cos x/sin x) sin^2x/(cosx sinx) + cos^2x/(sinx cosx)
and sin^2x + cos^2x = 1
