Ok so,  7.28. look at the second number after the decimal. if it is 5 or higher, round the 2 ( in this case) to a three

In the next place over to the right, we have 8. that's larger than 5. So we drop everything after the tenths place to get 7.2

Then we bump that 2 up to 3 (since 8 is larger than 5) to get the final answer of 7.3

the 2 after the decimal is the tenths place. to round, you would look at the number after it, and if it is a 5 and up then the 2 is a 3... so in this case, you would have 7.3... Hope I could help...
