do you know any poems about Rumbling Thunder?
Rumble of Thunder In the night sky there is a threatening rumble The sound begins and extends far and wide Massive echoing waves make the meek weak Huddling… waiting for grumbling to subside Suddenly a luminous glow ignites like a flare The air is energized as a zig-zag bolt sizzles through the turbulent obsidian colored clouds striking an isolated tree like a blazing chisel Pelting rain falls rapidly as fierce gusts race across fields of wild flowers and grass Gradually raging forces of the storm decrease as though exhausted… trailing off at last Trickling sounds of newly formed streams are welcomed as apprehensive fears are eased A cleansed atmosphere gives a sense of peace Safe from injury... small creatures are relieved by, Theresa Ann Moore
Rolling Thunder In the distance is the sound of rolling thunder, A sound that makes you look for something to hide under. Dark clouds race across the sinister night sky, As the wind howls and like a banshee cries. The thunder ever present comes closer still, To intimidate and terrify and give a feeling of ill. Lightening now illuminates the sky with a blue eerie spectre, First in this, then that, then in your own frightening sector. All now combine, lightening, thunder and howling winds, Panic and fear are evident as natures turmoil begins. The hours till dawn seem so very far away, So under your pillow you are determined to stay! by, Ruth warren
Rumbling Thunder Rumbling thunder sounds in the distance Joined in by a stormy rainfall, followed by some quiet lightening bolts. A peaceful quiet evening hearing crickets. Electricity failed. Candlelight dinner accompanied by quiet conversation. Uneventful. We are used to this and are prepared with enough candles. Some around the world are having problems of great unending stress. No comfort in that more than to contrast the peace found in this natural rumbling.
