A point on a pre-image is G(5, -2). If its image has coordinates G'(2, 1), what was the translation? (x - 3, y - 3) (x + 3, y - 3) (x - 3, y + 3) (x + 3, y + 3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The third i believe

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because to translate from G(5) to G`(2) it is going 3 down on the graph to get to 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the same for the Y from G(-2) to G`(1) you have to go up +3 on the graph thus, (x-3, y+3)
