AC = 3 We can solve for the height AB by using tangent identity. tanx = opp/adj tan 60 = AB/3 Therefore, h = AB = 3tan60 use your calculator so tolve AB. Then the area is now \[A = \frac{ bh }{ 2 }\] \[A = \frac{ 3(3\tan60) }{ 2 }\]
