Leonardo Da Vinci created blueprints of machines that still would work very well today. He created the first tank, machine gun, and even a flying machine. We used his old blue prints better ourselves with weapons and knowledge. But that's not the only thing that he did for us, he is usually known for his artwork, rather than his scientific discoveries about the human body, He created various sketches and detailed observations about each specimen he had. We didn't know anything about the human anatomy back then, so that was a really huge deal.

In the Magna Carta, when the knights forced the king to sign it was so they could have equal rights and a trial against them before just randomly proving guilty just because someone said so. It influenced the government by they cant just say something and it cant just happen because they said it. We have to vote against or for it. Also, it created a fair court system. Like you cant be guilty without proven first.
