substitution method anyone? 3x-4y=10 2y=2x-6 I know how to do the substitution method, I just need help with the first step. Would I divide the second equation by 2 to get y by itself?

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

right :)

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

when dividing by two, make sure you divide everything in the equation as well (2x-6)
