I need help with some C++ coding, can someone help?
What sort of help?
Learning it, just a little about it
get a book on it
or take a class
or watch vids
C++ is not a good starting point i must say.Start with a structured programming language like C . Use the book :Let us C.I hope this helps :)
She mentioned she knew some Java.
Well maybe she may not even know what is the difference between structured and Object oriented right now?
Ah, no, JavaScript... went back to the other post. Well, there some serious differences between a script language and a compiled.
I didn't check her other post lol :p
Yeah scripting language is totally different :p
There are ways to start with C++, but the language is a little harder to work with from ground 0. If you got familiar with the terms in JavaScript, like variables, types, and so on, then it might not be too hard a step. Now, if you don't know the terminology, C++ can be a bit of a leap if you are not in a class where they take the time to explain things. For self learning, Python and Java are probably the best starting points. Python is almost every form of programming language and not 100% any of them. So it can be used to learn object orientated even though it is not really an OOP language, it can be used to learn scripting even though it is not pure scripting, and so on. Java is a highly structured OOP, but has a clearer grammar than C++ and more built in graphics interaction. Both have some really good self learning books that can be downloaded for free as well as university made videos.
