Is the number missing in the problem 2/5?
yeah
Ok. You need to find out how many 2/5 ft pieces fit in 14 ft. This is a division problem. You can do this 2 ways. 1) Find the decimal that 2/5 is equal to. All you need to do is divide 2 by 5. Once you have 2/5 as a decimal, divide 14 by that decimal. 2) Keep 2/5 as a fraction, and divide 14 by 2/5. When you divide a number by a fraction, keep the first number as it is. Flip the fraction, and multiply the number and the fraction together.
