For example, the polynomial - 3x^2 + 2x^3 + 7 + 5x is NOT in standard form because the terms of the polynomial are not arranged from the highest order to the lowest order. Here the highest order is 3. So the polynomial should be written in standard form as: 2x^3 - 3x^2 + 5x + 7
