If someone could please help me, that'd be great! :) If f(x) = 4x, g(x) = 5x-3, and h(x) = √(x), find (f o g o h)(4).
(f o g o h)(4) is the same thing as f(g(h(4))). So substitute 4 into h, then substitute what you get from that into g, and repeat for f. So if you substitute 4 into h, you get 2. Then substitute 2 into g, you get 5(2)-3 which is 7. Then substitute 7 into f(x), you get 4*7 = 28. So 28 is your answer. I hope that helped! :)
Aaaahh. Thank you so much. I literally was staring at this problem for an hour ahaha. I got 28 also, but I seriously doubted myself. You're a lifesaver! :)
No problem! Trust yourself to what you know to be right; 28 is correct :)
You're amazing, thank you for the help! If I have any future questions, I might ask you. Just letting you know aha.
