how do i solve fraction equations?

OpenStudy (bibby):

Inverse operations. How would you solve the following?\[\large \frac{ 2 }{ 3 }x+3=13\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk

OpenStudy (bibby):

As always, isolate the x/variable you're solving for. How would you get x alone?

Lets answer to @bibby s equation ;): 2/3x+3=13 we dont like to have a fraction equations so should take out Denominator (3) . So have : 3(2/3x+3)=3(+13) have : 3*2/3x + 3*3 = 3*13 so : 2x+9=39 2x=39-9 2x=30 x=15 Did you get it ?!;) @mfaragalli
