Find the surface area AND the volume of the prisim. http://imgur.com/pIF1vvJ Draw the back view of a figure given its orthographic drawing. http://i.imgur.com/9JMEiUU.png

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

if you let the base of be the side that has 14 25 25 as sides then find the area of the 14 25 25 triangle height would be = √(25^2 - 7^2) = 24 so the area of the base of the triangle would be (1/2)(24*14) = 168

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

to find the surface area... you have two bases whose area each is 168 then the three other sides are rectangles 14 by 50 = 700 25 by 50 = 1250 and 25 by 50 = 1250 then add them all up so Surface area = 168 + 168 + 700 + 1250 + 1250 =

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

volume would be area of base times height so since we found that are of base = 168 and then height would be = 50 so volume = 168 * 50 =

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

I think the back of the figure thing would be a two by two... |dw:1391631575681:dw|

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

for http://i.imgur.com/DYjRmOQ.png. volume of a rectangular prism = (length)*(width)*(height) length = 9 width = 5 height = 6 so volume = 9*5*6 = surface area = 2 ( LW + LH + WH) = 2( 9*5 + 9*6 + 5*6) =

That's what I was thinking it was. Thank you so much <3 :)

you're welcome :)
