appliction of radius of gyration

OpenStudy (lastdaywork):

Can you be more specific with what kind of application you are looking for ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its just a concept.. what application are u looking for? :p.. it just makes it easier to write formulae which involves Moments of inertia :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The moment of inertia of an object can be summarized as I = M k^2 where k is the radius of gyration. It is convenient for use in tabulations of I for various shapes.
