What does this mean?? Describe Protagonist - *Static or Dynamic *Round or Flat Justify your answers
English 1 study guide, and I don't get this part at all. It is supposed to kind of be a reflection of the book I read called The Red Umbrella by Christina Diaz Gonzalez. I understand what protagonist means, but I do not know what Static or Dynamic means, and Round or Flat. It just doesn't make any sense to me.. please explain this.
I would ask your teacher, it sounds a lot like what I had to do in flvs 9th English.
Think of how the character is. Basically, it's pretty easy. The question is asking if the character changed at all during the story. Static- Means that the character stayed pretty much the same Dynamic- means that the character made dramatic changes, etc.
I don't remember what flat or round referred to, but I'm sure you'll come up with something on Google. Hope that was helpful...
@StudyGirl21 Yeah, it's a DBA study guide. I understood everything else besides this part. @Luvparadise thank you!!! That actually helped a lot! :D
I did this, do you still need help? And do you take FLVS?
@xCamilaCabellox
a protaganist means that you are stalling to do something
thats a procrastinator lol @allie_luv1
big words confuse me
a protagonist is the main character in the story.
im only in 7th grade soo it kinda explains it
lol im in 9th and I take the same class as her but I am in segment 2 and shes in segment 1
Well, I know that a round character is a character who is very detailed and is throughout most of the book. They are well known because they have so many details written about them. A flat character is just the opposite. They don't have much written about them and they aren't very detailed. I hope this helps you!! :)
A protagonist is a character in the story who takes the role as the main character, also being thought of as the leader. An antagonist would be the opposite, opposing the protagonist. Antagonist can be thought of as a villain of a story while protagonist could be the hero.
@allie_luv1 lmbo! protagonist not procrastinator. And sorry I never got any notifications from this question. @Barrelracer011 yeah 9th grade, and yup im really behind lol. I know what a protagonist is, I just didn't really understand what the round or flat, and static or dynamic meant. But it's okay I already did the assignment and got an A :)
Good job!!! :D
Thank you!! :)
