Solve and graph the absolute value inequality: |2x + 4| > 14 a. number line with open circles on −9 and 5, shading going in the opposite directions. b.number line with open circles on −9 and 5, shading in between. c.number line with closed circles on −9 and 5, shading going in the opposite directions. d.a number line with open circles on −5 and 5, shading going in the opposite directions.
hi may i help
of course lol
ok
so i think it is b but it sounds like c so the answer is C
i dont know dont blame me
but i think its C
| 2x + 4 | > 14 2x + 4 > 14 2x + 4 < -14 2x > 14 - 4 2x < -14 - 4 2x > 10 2x < -18 x > 5 x < -9 so we now have : 5 < x < -9 open circle on 5 and -9, shading going in opposite directions
but i think its C
closed circle are only used when there are equal signs involved
thanks so much!!
sure thing :)
hey i helped too
:(
lol thx
your welcome.........and nice pic
can u help me with 1 more plz
ok
spill it
hello?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Solve and graph the absolute value inequality: |4x + 1| ≤ 5 number line with closed dots on −1.5 and 1 with shading going in the opposite directions. number line with open dots on −1.5 and 1 with shading in between. number line with closed dots on −1 and 1 with shading in between. number line with closed dots on −1.5 and 1 with shading in between.
uh lets see um i calculated to 1.5 and i think you have to choose out of a,b,d cuz they are al calculated to 1.5 and 1 but yes i know its diffrent chioces but they are calculated the same, sorry :( but i think it is A
