OpenStudy (anonymous):

@bookworm00981

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it's a nervous impulse, but let me check...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (sarahezzmck):

lol idk this stuff Alex

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That depends on whether the neuron stimulating the 2nd neuron is excitatory of inhibitory. If excitatory, then it will change the permeability for Na and Na will enter, and depolarization will occur, and another action potential. If the first neuron is inhibitory, then the permeability to chloride ions will increase, chloride will enter the second cell, it this cell then becomes hyperpolarized, and will NOT fire. Compliments of Simonizer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it is C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Another Person Agree's with Me and Simonizer, Saying Impulse begins when a neuron is stimulated by another neuron or the environment.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep! Good Job!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank i have 4 more questions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Refer to Figure 31-1. Which structure carries impulses away from the cell body? A. I B. II C. III D. V

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I chose Option IV.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cool

OpenStudy (anonymous):

brb

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its not V .long axon that carries impulses away from the body and to the next neuron.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which structure in Figure 31–2 is commonly injured by people inserting cotton swabs or other objects into their ears? A. structure A B. structure B C. structure C D. structure D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In fig which structure is more closer ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):
