i need help to solve 3x-18<-3 i need to find the answer in interval notation

OpenStudy (gorv):

3x<-3+18 3x<15 x<5 (- infinty , 5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why infinity?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3x-18<-3 add 18 to both sides 3x<15 divide by 3 x<5 \[x \in (-\infty,5) \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its not right i got that

OpenStudy (gorv):

negative infinty is less than 5 lol ans is x less than 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if x is a real no.,then the above solution. if x is a natural no,then \[x=\left\{ 1,2,3,4 \right\}\] if x is an integer,then \[x=\left\{ -\infty,....,0,1,2,3,4 \right\}\]

OpenStudy (gorv):

x can be any thing less than 5....4..3..2...1..-1 -2 ....-590......-67462464......upto - infinity
