Which best describes acceleration? A. distance over time B. speed in a particular direction C. change in velocity over time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is a basic question of acceleration.. do you know what acceleration is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no and i cant google the word because google is not working

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ermm.. isn't this part covered in your class or something? textbook? acceleration is caused whenever there is achange in velocity.. u can always FEEL acceleration.. whenever busses JUSt start or JUST brake..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is A because speed in a particular direction is velocity, and change in velocity would still be velocity or speed because if the direction changes, it is velocity still, if the speed changes, it is speed. So the answer is A. Distance over time
