Claudia is on a motorcycle trip. She checked the odometer at the beginning of the trip, and it showed 16,789 miles. After 15 days it showed 22,189 miles. If Claudia rode the same number of miles each day, how many miles did she ride in a day?

This is problem of averages. Find the total distance travelled from the difference in the odometer readings at the beginning and at the end of the trip. Divide it by the number of days. You should have the miles travelled per day.
