Think about if you were the tiger and trapped in a cage. For example, if I was to write a poem I'd talk about being watched and judged and made fun of, etc. For adjectives, stick with negative ones. For example, 'depressed', 'sad', 'ominous', etc. For powerful words, use words like 'monstrous', 'agony', etc. Rhyme is easy, like 'the cat lived in the hat' or something should work. Just has to rhyme. Emotive language is just like the negative adjectives. You want to invoke pain and sadness in your readers eyes, just like with those commercials about saving the dogs where you want to cry so much :P If you need more help just ask.
