There are over 33 types of dolphins.
The friendliest dolphin is the boodle nose dolphin.
This kind of dolphin is normally in shows.
You can go to sea world and see dolphins there.
How do dolphins get food?

How do dolphins hunt?
They hunt in groups.
When they hunt this way they get more food.
They find a group of fish called a school and surround the fish.
They slowly swim closer and closer then, they move the fish so they can not escape.
When there is a new baby, were is the baby?
Not all of the dolphins go hunting.
That means the mommy will leave it with another female dolphin, while the mommy is hunting.
How do the dolphins get rest?

How do dolphins sleep?
It is pretty cool.
They are mammals so they need air.
So they swim to the surface of the water to get the air.
Then they shut down half of there brain.
What does the other half of the brain do?
Well it keeps them floating and keeps aware of the environment.
When the one side of the brain has had enough sleep; the two sides will switch.
