What is the area of a triangle with these side lengths? 9cm and 14cm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

63cm

OpenStudy (barrelracer011):

Well follow the formula A=1/2 b(h)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you explain how you got the answer because I have no idea how to do these problems @liltish007

OpenStudy (anonymous):

area of a triangle is base x height \ 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9 x 14 = 126 divide that by 2 is 63

OpenStudy (barrelracer011):

you multiply the to lengths together and you get 126 then divide that by 2 and get 63

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay thank you guys very much!
