I know they are similar, but by which postulate?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im thinking c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh forgot tomention, i have also calculated it is either B or C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get c?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got a as the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A is the right answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no it isnt......

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here is how I got A. you know that one of the small triangles sides is 8. Then if you add the 8 and 4 you get 12 which is the side length of the big triangle. so the ratio is 8:12 simplified thats 2:3 so using that ratio to find x you know that 12 is the side length for the small triangle so the side length for the big triangle is 18.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im 100% sure it is B or C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please tell me how you got b or c?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh wait, looking at the wrong answer on the key

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you guys are right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's 18 for sure.. I forget what AA and SAS stands for though. Angle Angle? Side Angle Side?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good luck. ^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what they stand for
