203 Maple Avenue Gary, Indiana 10462 June 15, 2002 Ms. Gwen Holbrook Journalism Advisor Cardinal High Press Gary, Indiana 10462 Dear Ms. Holbrook: Please consider my application for the position of news editor that would be available next fall. I have worked as a chief editor at my junior high school previously and have enjoyed the experience. Since I will be joining Cardinal High School as a freshman next year, my English teacher, Mr. Robin Borden, himself having been an editor for his high school newspaper, encouraged me to apply for this position. I have worked as a news editor for Memorial Jr. Times for two years and, as chief editor, I was heading my team for the past year. Since we published our paper twice a month, I am used to working efficiently and accurately. Having the best people in my team made it possible for me to reach my full potential. It has never happened that we were unable to meet our deadlines, and our stories were always advanced and creative. Last year our paper won two Cronkite Awards for journalism excellence in news and feature writing. While I am confident about my writing, editing and managerial abilities, my previous experience has given me the incite and preparation needed to work well with others and to respond creatively to changes, crises, and added responsibilities. If my background meets your needs, please phone me any weekday after 6 P.M. at 219-555-5513. Jordan Brown Sincerely,
Do you know how to?
Yeahhhhhh no.. Lol. I don't understand this =/..
