Your topic is “where do we get our food from?” Start with what you know about the topic by creating bubbles to represent your prior knowledge, even if it’s very basic, like farm to truck to grocery store to table. Then, do some research to find new information. You might use a search engine on the Internet with key words like “food production,” “food transportation,” or “farm to market,” anything that helps you learn more about how the package of bologna in your refrigerator store got there. Make sure you include clarifying words or phrases on the connector lines of the bubbles to clarify the relationships between the bubbles.
