you know 2^2 = 4 2^3=8 etc What power do you raise 2 to get 256 The solution is to use logarithm Take log of both sides of equation Then use the fact the log(a^b) = b log a in this case you will find the answer is a whole number (integer)
Okay, what do i need to do to find what power i rase 2 to get 256
