Can someone help me make up a problem similar to inverse variation? I know k = xy, and I had an idea of a problem. I just need someone to tell me if it makes sense, and if it will work. The time it takes for you to drive to campus varies on your driving speed. If you drive 20mph, it will take you 1.5 hours to get there. How long will it take if you are driving 50mph? It would be something like k = (20) (1.5) --> k = 30. Then would it be 30 = 50y?
