Write a rule when x=-2 y=-4 and x=0 and y=2 and x=-1 and y=-1

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

Hello and Welcome to Openstudy! :) if you put what they gave you into a table x y -2 -4 -1 -1 0 2 you'll see that every time x increases by 1 y would increase by 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So what the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It has to be a rule

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

please note that this site does not permit the giving of answers :) http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct This site has a policy for "Give Help, Not Answers" violations of such policies could potentially result in an account suspension or ban. but perhaps you can take the phrase "every time x increases by 1, y would increase by 3" to be the rule :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know the answer though? you don't have to tell me but do you?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

mmm I'm not entirely sure what format the question would like the answer to be in, I would simply say that: "every time x increases by 1, y would increase by 3"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you!

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

you're welcome :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I really appreciate your help. In the future if I need more help will you help me?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):
