Question. Medals given

OpenStudy (31356):

Question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Linda is buying boxes of ice cream sandwiches for her class party. She has to decide how many boxes she should purchase

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

This is missing information.

OpenStudy (♪chibiterasu):

May we see the rest of the question please?

OpenStudy (31356):

I think you mean this because my sister has the same homework like you do. 72 / 12 = 6 linda will need to buy 6 boxes

OpenStudy (31356):

Medal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A formula for this scenario is z= ax/y where z=number of boxes a=number of bars each student will eat x=number of students at a party y=number of ice-cream bars per box Linda has 15 students in her class, and she wants each student to have 2 ice-cream sandwiches. If there are 10 sandiwches in a box, how many should linda buy ?

OpenStudy (31356):

@JC9977002

OpenStudy (♪chibiterasu):

The site just died on me. :| 15 • 2 = 30 This will be the total of sandwiches.

OpenStudy (♪chibiterasu):

Now there are 10 in each box so: 30/10 = 3 She wants to buy 3 boxes.

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

Lol 31356, z= ax/y You're going to be solving for z Plug in, z= 2(15)/10 z = 30 / 10 z = 3 She should by 3 boxes. 3 = 2(15)/10 3 = 30 / 10 3 = 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks guys (: i have 3 more if you want the medals

OpenStudy (♪chibiterasu):

Yeah that's the fancy way. :P I'm just too lazy at night. ._.

OpenStudy (♪chibiterasu):

You can't give multiple medals in one question, but we'll gladly help you.

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

The medals are virtual, that's what a lot of people on here don't understand. Saying, " MEDAL TO ANYONE THAT HELPS" won't help you attract people to your thread, showing actual effort and explaining what you don't understand will. Unless you're like some people.

OpenStudy (♪chibiterasu):

Or most people, actually. :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya i wrote it on a seperate question lol
