A times B cubed times A squared times B, what was the simplified result

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

then multiplying variables with exponents the exponents add together for same variables so x times x^2 = x^(1+2) = x^3 or you can think of it as x = x x^2 = x*x so x times x^2 = x * x*x = x^3

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

so if you have x * y^3 * x^2 * y it can be rearranged as x * x^2 * y^3 * y and so simplify to x^3 * y^4
