I need help. 1.)Write an expression for the perimeter of a rectangle with a width of 3 and a height of 2g. 2.) What is the perimeter if g=4?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well the perimeter of a rectangle is P = 2( width + height) so P=2(3 + 2g) distribute to simplify the expression. when you ahve the simplified form substitute g = 4 and get the numeric value of the perimeter. Hope it helps
