but rebelled early, while she's in her youth
didn't know who she was, living for the thrill
in Middle school - she's lookn pretty like a daffodil
dating a guy just out of prison
and this is just the beginning, to life full of sinning
it all started online, led to inappropriate things
but it felt good to her, searching for love this brings
me to my next point, when high-school hits
dating the star athlete, she learns how to take sips
she's at every party, searching for approval of her peers
wants to fit in so bad, rejection's what she fears
her boyfriend cheats, so things get worse
cuz now she feels like somethings wrong with her, it straight hurts
the wounds are getting deep, so she tries to cope
with the pain with these drinks, tell me is there any hope?

She has suicidal thoughts because of all the battles shes fought

Seems like everyone around here is gone give up on her soon

No one to look up to because they always showin bad examples
She felt like she had to try so she goes ahead and samples
The life these people lived, the strife other people give

to be involved with the Church, instead of trying to fit in
she wants to make a difference in this world through redemption
so she helps out other girls who struggle with addiction
she stopped lookn for guys, because the Lord is enough
but God brought her a husband, and she's like what?
she sees the daylight now, through her new sight
she's so grateful for where she's at through through the fight
there's just one little detail that I forgot
as soon as I saw this woman ya boy was straight caught
I actually made a covenant - I vowed for life
