150% salary raise means double the amount that you are earning plus another 50%, which in total gives you 150% increase in salary.

For example,
If you earn 10$ an hour working at Bestbuy (or whatever) and you get that increase in lucky chance to get promoted to a higher level of management, you will earn more in this case suppose you earn 150%, then your new salary per hour would be 25$.
