what course grades get factored into a gpa? i know it's math, science, english, and history. but is there also other courses like language? idk, i'm trying to calculate my gpa... ALSO do colleges look at each semester's gpa's? and that's the only grades they see? i really don't know... thanks!

I'm pretty sure that all grades are factored in to GPA's, but the most important courses are the core classed (Math, Science, History, and Language). 

Colleges will look at all grades. They will look at each semester to see how much you have improved, and each year for  a view of an overall performance.
