OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

Err.. no need to say "hoe"

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

heheh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sin \theta = \frac{ opposite }{ hypotenuse }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well the inside should equal 180 you alread have 45 and 90degree angles which equals 135 so your missing degree is 45 and you do opposite over hypotenuse so you have a/6=180 then idk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk if i did that correctly but hope it helps:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is also a 45-45-90 triangle. So you could find the remaining side using its properties.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

\(\bf sin(\theta)=\cfrac{{\color{red}{ opposite}}}{hypotenuse}\qquad sin(45^o)=\cfrac{{\color{red}{ a}}}{6}\implies sin(45^o)\cdot 6=a\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And since sin(45) = 1/2. A = 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh ok i get it thanks
