Help! :) Time (month) x Money ($) y 0 400 1 320 2 240 3 160 Part A: What is the y-intercept of the function and what does this tell you about the table? (4 points) Part B: What is the average rate of change of the function represented by the table between x = 1 to x = 3 months and what does the average rate represent? (4 points) Part C: What is the domain of the function represented by the table if Cathy does not put any money into the box but takes out the same amount of money from the box each month?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mostly need help with C, because i did the rest but they might be wrong!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

domain is your x's

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay i got this for the first two am i totally wrong?-> Part A: The y-intercept of the function is going to be 80, because it decreases by 80 each time. This means each month she takes out $80. Part B: The average rate of change between x=1 and x=3 is -3, or decreasing by 3. The average rate represents how many months she has put money in her box for.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well since you know your x's are your months what can you tell from that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That every month she takes out $80? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay uhmmm yeah which is what exactly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The.... rate of change.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which is your domain because it is an x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So 80 would be c?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think sooo
