I need help with part c of this question! :) The table below shows the values of y for each value of x. x|y 01 12 23 33 Part C: Write an ordered pair to represent the input and output of the function in Part B when the plumber works for d hours. (2 points)

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

coordinate pairs. (x,y)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So would i just keep adding the number by the rate of change?

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Order pair is (x,y). put the numbers that are in the x value where "x" is and the numbers that are in the y value where "y" is.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh, so i would just take the numbers that are in the chart and put like.. x:0,1,2,3 and y:1,2,3,3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh sorry but in order!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait they are already haha!

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

yup. but do that one at a time since u have one input and one output per sequence.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you mean one a t a time?

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

like doing it in order.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's probably the easiest thing to understand, i feel dumb haha, but i'm still confused aren't they already in order? from least to greatest?

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

not necessarily.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh like plots? like 0,1? 1,2? like that?

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

yeah u got it!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yay thank you so much! I'll give you a medal for being so patient with me!

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

your welcome :)
